Hi all
My partner and I are travelling in Japan in Oct 08 and on Fri Oct 10th we'll be heading from Kyoto to Tokyo for a quick 2 night stay. We dont want to lug our big packs all the way there and would rather take small overnight bags - just wondering how hard would it be to arrange our baggage to be forwarded to Osaka (next destination after Tokyo)?? Is this something we would need to arrange before we go to Japan or is it simple enough to sort out over there? Happy to pay what ever costs are involved.

Question Luggage Delivery Service from Osaka to Tokyo, is it recommended? (self.JapanTravel) submitted 2 years ago by deleted As I will be travelling from osaka to kyoto for 1 night then to tokyo. I have an intention of sending my luggage straight from Osaka to Tokyo. So I wont need to travel with a big luggage with me. However, I am staying. Also, you cannot ship overnight to airports – they typically require 48 to 72-hour advance delivery (but pick-up, once at the airport, is almost as convenient as the luggage waiting in your hotel room). Lost and Found in Japan. Takuhaibin is not just a fantastic convenience with regard to luggage and Japan train travel.
Hello, ladies and gentlemen! I'm going to use a luggage delivery service like takuhaibin during my trip in Japan. Which service to use and why? Can I send my luggage from one 7-11 store to another one in different city? How can I get the address of a convenience store for sending and picking up my luggage? I want to send it from Kyoto train station to Family mart store close to an apartment I'm renting. Also I need to use it for delivery to Kansai airport from Kyoto. Can I fill in forms in English? Did anyone have any experience with delivery service in Japan? Any recommendations, tricks? Thank you in advance.
